OUR PEOPLE

The majority of our dedicated team is from Santa Maria village.

Presently there are 160 employees working at the hotel, 4 of which are European.

Some of our human resources are the grandchildren of our first collaborators.

And last but certainly not least, a few members of our fantastic tecnical and construction team !

Dalia, Chief receptionist and Zita, responsible of reservation department

Eunice, our housekeeper since 1972 with Maria-Auxilia (chambermaid)

Nais (gardener) and Osvaldo (responsible for the security, gardens and cleanness) since 1970!

Maria, responsible for Bar and Restaurant with two of our barmen, Denilson and Lionel.

Mario, the maître d'hôtel of our main restaurant with us since 1981, and Adilton (sous-chef)

Ana, sous-chef and Mikael , the chef of our restaurants Les Palmiers and La Tortue.

Piduca, sous-chef and Fernando , the chef of our Beach Club restaurant.

Faya and Joao Carlos, responsible of food and everage purchasing

James Sarkies, the captain of our trimaran Ilan.

Gigi, responsible for animation and transfers, with Jorge, member of the team.

Augusta Evora, the finance and administration director with Carla and Manuel Duarte with us since 1971 !

Arlindo, responsible for the tecnical division and Mr Baert, the tecnical director since 1969.

Nicolau, the chief carpenter and joiner. All our wood furnitures are produced by Morabezaís workshop.
